Young entrepreneur brings his customers’ ideas to life with innovative solutions
A profound passion for entrepreneurship and a dream of establishing his own business was the launching pad for Nicklas Rafn to found ATLAS Engineering in 2023. The organization is a Danish corporation that is specialized in producing custom machinery and other types of steel structures for a wide array of industries, catering to everything from established smitheries to smaller startup-organizations.
Through his previous roles as mechanical engineer, project manager, and team-leader at organizations such as R&D Test Systems and Vestas, Nicklas Rafn has acquired a high level of experience and a profound expertise, which he now daily brings to the table at INCUBA StartupLab. This experience has made him capable of taking responsibility for any aspect of complex development-tasks, that particularly are of great value for small and middle-sized organizations, that may lack in-house resources due to either their size or the busyness of their operations.
Compared to the organization’s larger competitors, ATLAS Engineering is very flexible and does not need to dedicate many resources to administrative tasks. Similarly, the organization does not outsource its work-tasks, but utilize local workforce instead, which according to Nicklas Rafn has a positive effect on trust, efficiency and work joy for every part involved.
