New startups are admitted to Founder Hub twice a year in 2026 – with the first intake in May and the next in September.

Application deadlines:

  • March 30, 2026 for the May intake
  • July 31, 2026 for the September intake

After the application deadline, the most promising startups are invited for a meeting and assessment of their fit within the community.

The framework for a strong community and network environment

Next Level brings together capital, expertise and community in a strong network environment where the right connections can be made. With structured programmes, curated matchmaking activities and an active community, start-ups gain access to capital, knowledge and advice, while investors gain access to qualified cases.

  • Founder Hub – for start-ups on their way to the next growth leap. Here, founders are offered access to an active mentor and advisor network and a framework that strengthens development and scaling. 
  • Investor Hub – an exclusive members' environment with offices and a lounge area where investors can work, network and meet informally with founders. 

With Next Level, INCUBA is creating a framework for capital and talent to meet – and for Aarhus to take another step towards becoming one of Denmark's strongest investor environments.

Criteria for admission to INCUBA Next Level Founder Hub

INCUBA Next Level is aimed at ambitious tech startups that are in their first stages of growth and ready to build, scale, and execute within an active founder community.

Team

We are looking for teams with ideally two or more founders who bring complementary skills, deep domain knowledge, and preferably experience from previous startups. We expect founding teams that can build fast and execute from day one.

Market potential

Your product or solution should target a large, scalable market and address a clearly defined pain point for a broad audience. It should have the potential to grow into a significant business – both nationally and internationally.

Innovation level

We admit founders who are working on technologies or products with clear novelty and preferably potential for IP protection. Consulting and advisory businesses fall outside the target group.

Stage

You are early – but not at the idea stage. A proof of concept should be established, preferably supported by early market validation. Annual revenue should be below DKK 500,000 – with ambitions significantly higher.

Across all applicants, we look for founders who want to be part of an ambitious community where experiences are shared, networks are expanded, and direct access to investors, mentors, and advisors is part of everyday life.

Take your startup to the next level

Startups admitted to the INCUBA Next Level Founder Hub join a 12-month accelerator program focused on growth, capital, and network.

The program includes:

  • Office space at INCUBA Next Level with reduced rent (1500 DKK/month)
  • Access to experienced industry experts and business partners
  • Curated workshops, talks, and networking events
  • Personal mentoring and close proximity to investors
  • Invitations to demo days, pitch sessions, and matchmaking events
  • Access to INCUBA’s strong community and social activities

The goal is to give founders the best possible foundation to mature their business, attract capital, and accelerate growth – together with others on the same journey.

Venture fund of DKK 600 million becomes part of INCUBA Next Level

With the establishment of Delphinus Venture Capital, DKK 600 million has been injected into research-based start-ups sprouting up in Aarhus and the rest of Denmark.

The fund was established by Aarhus University Research Foundation, HEARTLAND, Norlys and Salling Group, and with CEO Mathias Brink Lorenz at the helm, the ambition is clear: to follow companies all the way from their initial ideas to international scaling.

Welcome to Investor Meetup, an exclusive meeting for invited investors only, designed to promote informal knowledge sharing and networking.

The goal is to strengthen Aarhus as a leading investor city by facilitating meaningful conversations and learning among investors.
