INCUBA's first science park
Science Park Aarhus on Gustav Wieds Vej is INCUBA’s first science park, founded in 1986 by a number of companies and organisations to promote technology transfer from the university and encourage more researchers to start companies.
Several expansions later, Science Park Aarhus merged with the IT centre Katrinebjerg in 2007 under the joint name INCUBA Science Park A/S.
Today, all of INCUBA’s buildings on Gustav Wieds Vej are leased to Aarhus University. The buildings house laboratories and teaching facilities.
The laboratories are used for research and development projects in collaboration between researchers at public institutions and the private sector.
