Football Shirt Friday brought the INCUBA community together for a good cause

On Friday, 6 March, the INCUBA community was filled with football shirts from near and far as startups, companies, and employees in Navitas, Katrinebjerg, and Skejby took part in Football Shirt Friday to support children in the fight against cancer.

From Denmark’s red-and-white colours and the Danish Superliga to the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, and Serie A, shirts from many leagues were represented. But on this day, it wasn’t about rivalries on the pitch. It was about standing together for an important cause.

At cake stands in the three hubs, participants could buy a slice of cake for a voluntary donation, guess the total amount raised, and join group photos in their team colours.

By the end of the day, the result was clear: The INCUBA community raised a total of DKK 12,765 for the Danish Childhood Cancer Foundation.

To support the initiative even further, INCUBA added an additional DKK 6,000, bringing the total donation to DKK 18,765.

Closest guesses to the total amount

Several participants came impressively close in the competition to guess the final amount raised:

AGF was the most represented team

Looking at the football shirts across INCUBA that day, there was little doubt which team dominated.

AGF was clearly the most represented team among INCUBA’s tenants.

The largest individual donation of the day was DKK 1,000 from the company Arcane Energy. Thank you so much for that.

Thank you to everyone who wore their football shirts, bought cake, and helped create a day filled with both team spirit and community.
