Kdag 2025 strengthens the bridge between tech talent and companies

Thanks to INCUBA's close partnership with Aarhus University, companies in INCUBA have a rare shortcut to meeting - and capturing - the brightest IT talent long before they have a diploma in hand. Today, 11 April 2025, was the highlight of the year for building relationships that can turn into recruitments tomorrow.

Aarhus University is more than a close neighbour to INCUBA. It is a vibrant source of talent where future software engineers, data scientists and developers hone their skills. That's what makes events like Kdag at the Department of Computer Science so special: Here, companies stand in the middle of the flow of ambitions and ideas, present their technologies and projects - and have a direct dialogue with potential employees. For students, it's a chance to explore startup life, ask nerdy questions and maybe book a student job or thesis collaboration.

On 11 April 2025, the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University turned into an epicentre for the IT workforce of the future when over 1000 students visited Kdag. At INCUBA's stand, four of our companies were ready to talk about career paths, projects and startup culture - and to recruit the brightest minds to their teams: Automate Systems, BoostPLM, Cernel & CogniTech Technologies, who were happy to talk about what they can offer some of Denmark's most coveted IT students.

"Heaven for companies looking for tech talent"

"I participated with my company Automate Systems at the Career Day 2025 for technology students at Aarhus University - thanks to both the university and INCUBA for making it possible. It was a really good day with many interesting conversations, and it was clear that there is a great interest in working with AI among the students. Several students told me that they would rather work with startups than big companies. I understand that - in a startup you get responsibility from day one and the opportunity to bring your ideas to life."

- Torben Qvortrup, founder of Automate Systems

In addition to the four companies at INCUBA's stand, students could meet five other INCUBA companies that had booked their own stands: Databricks, Better Collective, Eficode, Confiware and Minds and Co. Hear for example Nicoline Onchoy Jensen, former Computer Science student and now Project Manager & UX Designer at Minds and Co, tells the attendees of the One Minute Madness presentations of all exhibiting companies how she met Minds and Co for Kdag in 2024 in this video:

Kdag 2026

Kdag will be held again in the spring of 2026 - the date has not yet been finalised. Info will be sent out at the end of the year to the institutes' contact list and companies in INCUBA will have the opportunity to bid for one of the spaces on our stand in Q1 2026.
