Aarhus Investor Summit

Aarhus Investor Summit is an event bringing together angel investors, VCs and family offices from all over Denmark and abroad with a shared interest in early stage startups.

This year's event will take place in beautiful surroundings at Aarhus City Hall, including inspiring keynotes, fundraising startups pitching, an exclusive networking dinner and networking.

As part of the program we will be announcing the winners of the INCUBA Award: Investor of the Year and Startup of the Year.

If you invest in startups - whether it be as a VC, corporate VC, family office, or angel investor - then join us for the biggest investor meet-up in the Central Denmark Region!

Part 1 - Setting the scene

13.45: Keynote 'The startup perspective' by Geeta Schmidt, co-founder of Humio & partner at Seed Capital. Experiences and learnings from leading companies into industry defining global organisations including Humio’s journey from a European seed startup to $400M acquisition by CrowdStrike within 5 years. What were the barriers when scaling?

14.10: Keynote 'The investor perspective' by Peter Hede, partner in Nordic Eye Growth & Venture Capital. Buying and selling secondaries in mature and early-stage companies offers crucial flexibility for both investors and founders. It allows early investors, founder and key employees to gain liquidity, mitigating their risk exposure, while bringing in new investors with fresh capital and expertise to drive the startup’s scaling efforts. This creates a win-win dynamic that supports growth, success, and helps democratize the investment ecosystem by providing broader access to opportunities.
