Founder Friends: Experienced entrepreneurs help new startups
How do you scale your business? What mistakes should you avoid? And how do you navigate the many decisions that come with being a founder?
These are some of the questions that startups in INCUBA Next Level Founder Hub can now discuss with experienced entrepreneurs and investors through the Founder Friends initiative.
Founder Friends was launched earlier this year with the ambition of putting the experience of successful entrepreneurs, many of whom have been part of INCUBA's startup community themselves, to work for the next generation of startups.
Now, the first matches are in place.
Experience that makes a difference
As a founder, you often face challenges that others have already encountered. These can range from product development and market strategy to fundraising, recruitment and scaling.
Through Founder Friends, startups gain access to an experienced sparring partner who can share firsthand insights, challenge their thinking and offer new perspectives on growing their business.
One of the founders who has chosen to get involved is Daniel Kappelgaard, who was part of the INCUBA community when he co-founded BattMan Energy.
"When we started our startup BattMan, we were part of the INCUBA community and met so many great people who helped us with valuable advice along the way and contributed to getting us where we are today. I hope I can do the same for the next generation of founders here," says Daniel Kappelgaard.

The ten Founder Friends bring a wide range of experience and expertise in entrepreneurship, investment and business development.
They have now been matched with startups in INCUBA Next Level, where they will act as sparring partners, sharing their knowledge and experience to support the companies' development.

Founder Friends is part of INCUBA Next Level, where startups, investors and experienced business professionals come together as part of their everyday working environment.
The ambition is to make it easier for startups to access the experience and expertise they need to move forward, while giving experienced founders the opportunity to support the next generation of companies in the community where they once started their own entrepreneurial journeys.
And for the new founders, the value is clear.
