For more than 30 years, the INCUBA science park has been a hub for companies, researchers and students across IT, cleantech and life science. And soon, even more people can become part of INCUBA Katrinebjerg's unique community. INCUBA is expanding its existing facilities at Katrinebjerg, which currently house around 70 specialised IT companies. Katrinebjerg is home to a knowledge environment of a very special calibre with some of the world's best people in a number of IT/tech and engineering disciplines. The area's approximately 3,000 students, researchers, employees and companies make it an IT powerhouse that attracts numerous international students and bright minds.

INCUBA Next

In 2024, INCUBA will open its new extension, INCUBA Next, where slightly larger companies will have the opportunity to move into a hypermodern setting - right in the middle of the strong IT environment.

"INCUBA Katrinebjerg is designed to support innovation and networking in everyday life, so that startups, scaleups, researchers and students all have a place to exchange knowledge and develop across disciplines. With INCUBA Next, we want to strengthen the close collaboration between business, university and research that already exists in our community," says Mai Louise Agerskov, CEO of INCUBA.

INCUBA Next is tailored for growth-oriented technology companies with more than 40 employees, and the new extension will offer a state-of-the-art and scalable environment that will allow the companies to continue to grow.

As part of INCUBA's domicile at Katrinebjerg, you will be close to Aarhus University - surrounded by talented researchers, talented students and other scaleups and budding startups.

Companies such as Partisia, Kvantify and SCALGO have already rented office space in the upcoming IT/tech community, with the former emphasising the business-friendly environment as a key factor.

Partisia, a pioneer in blockchain, cryptography and MPC, has just signed a lease for two floors in INCUBA Next:

SCALGO is also looking forward to moving into the new framework in INCUBA Next.

With our recently signed lease agreement on the 14th floor of INCUBA Next, we are future-proofing our location in a creative environment close to the university.
