Party in INCUBA Next: New framework strengthens Aarhus as a centre for IT, tech and innovation
The 500-strong opening party offers an afternoon out of the ordinary with the popular Danish rock band Turboweekend as the main attraction, free bar and delicious food. Throughout the day, guests can move freely in the open common areas on both the 7th and 18th floors with ‘sky view’, where the brand new facilities unfold with a fantastic 360-degree view of Aarhus. In addition, there will be speeches highlighting INCUBA Next as a strategic investment in the future tech environment and guests will have the opportunity to get an insight into the innovative environment that houses leading tech companies and promising startups.
The new INCUBA Next extension has been built with a strong focus on quality and will add 1,200 new workplaces for growth-oriented technology companies, who will also have access to a number of attractive shared facilities such as roof terraces, lounge areas, bistro, deli and conference rooms.
INCUBA Next, as the expansion of INCUBA's existing science park in the Katrinebjerg neighbourhood is called, raises INCUBA's total number of square metres from 13,500 to 35,500.
‘With INCUBA Next, we are taking another big step towards creating an optimal environment for technology and software companies with growth ambitions. We are not just celebrating a physical expansion, but a strategic investment in the future where we can offer excellent facilities that match the companies' high ambitions. We look forward to throwing a big party and celebrating the opening together with all the companies in INCUBA that have been patient neighbours during the last two years,’ says Jacob Doktor Mogensen, CEO of INCUBA.
