Promoting regenerative construction
Frank Jensen, 3rd generation owner-manager of Søren Jensen, says: "Our sponsorship from Søren Jensen is part of our efforts to promote initiatives that inspire and lower the barriers to action. Imagine buildings that not only reduce their environmental impact, but actively contribute to restoring it. This is what we call regenerative building."
INCUBA StartupLab Byg offers sustainable construction startups a unique opportunity to become part of a well-established programme that has already helped numerous startups kickstart their business. We look forward to receiving applications - read more about the criteria and how to apply here.
Welcome to the first startup in StartupLab Byg
The first startup in INCUBA StartupLab Byg is re-claim, consisting of former students from Aarhus School of Architecture. Re-claim is a company that upcycles bark scraps from sawmills and turns them into high-quality bark panels that are both aesthetic and environmentally friendly. The bark panels are designed to not only enhance the visual atmosphere of spaces, but also contribute to a healthier environment, in line with the eco trend of commitment to sustainability and natural materials.
Re-claim is a great case of a startup that Søren Jensen in collaboration with INCUBA supports to promote sustainable construction and the use of natural materials. For re-claim, the space in INCUBA StartupLab Byg is also a welcome opportunity:
"We are very excited about joining INCUBA StartupLab Byg. We look forward to being part of INCUBA's inspiring community together with other innovative startups. It is a unique opportunity for us to benefit from the network and at the same time get the opportunity to get valuable sparring with both engineers and architects from Aarhus Centre for Regenerative Construction and Søren Jensen," says co-founder & CEO of re-claim, Victor Nyland Poulsen.
