450 members of the INCUBA community came together for this year’s DHL Relay
58 running teams, 32 walking teams and a total of 450 participants. The INCUBA tent was buzzing when employees from companies across INCUBA gathered for this year’s DHL Relay in Aarhus on Wednesday, 19 August.

Off we go! Full of speed, confetti and big smiles
That is app. 100 more participants than last year – and once again, the event provided a great opportunity to meet across companies and locations, this time wearing running or walking shoes and with a relay baton in hand.
Throughout the year, INCUBA hosts both professional and social events that give companies and their employees the opportunity to meet and build relationships across the community. The DHL Relay is one of our biggest shared traditions.

Three trophies and two repeat winners
As always, three INCUBA DHL trophies were up for grabs. And two of this year’s winners were familiar faces from last year:
- Fastest team: Antire with a combined time of 1:47:21, taking home the trophy for the second year in a row.
- Fastest female runner: Britt Kidmose Ardal from ARCEDI Biotech with a time of 19:57. Britt also claimed the title for the second year running – while improving on last year’s time.
- Fastest male runner: Christian Victor Andersen from Mastercard Open Finance with an impressive time of 16:50.
At Antire, there was naturally plenty of excitement about bringing the trophy back to the office once again:
“We are so happy to share that yesterday at DHL relay, our team won the title of INCUBA’s fastest team for the second year in a row! We crossed the line with a combined time of 1:47:21, which means the trophy gets to come home with us once again.”
And the challenge to the rest of the INCUBA community has already been issued: “Now let's see who's brave enough to try and beat us next year.”

More than fast finishing times
For Britt Kidmose Ardal from ARCEDI Biotech, the DHL Relay is about more than chasing a fast time. After this year’s event, she sent a message to INCUBA:
“Thank you so much for organising another great DHL event. It means so much to us as participants to have a great day together in the setting you create – with a great atmosphere and great food.”
At Mastercard, it was also the overall experience that stood out after the race. Rune Krogh Kallehauge, Global Communications Director at Mastercard Open Finance, wrote afterwards:
“Great pace, great energy – and most importantly, everyone made it across the finish line injury-free!”
And about the setting for the evening:
“A big thanks to our friends at INCUBA for once again creating such a great setting around the race. Priceless evening in Aarhus.”

An evening across INCUBA
After the running and walking, the evening continued in the INCUBA tent, where the 450 participants could enjoy dinner, celebrate the day’s achievements and spend time with colleagues and employees from many other companies at INCUBA.
It is precisely this combination of activity and community that makes the DHL Relay a recurring event in the INCUBA community calendar year after year. There is room for those chasing a trophy and a fast time, those walking the route and those who are primarily there to enjoy a great evening with colleagues and the rest of the community.
A big thank you to all 450 participants who helped make it another memorable DHL evening in Mindeparken – and congratulations to this year’s trophy winners.
We are already looking forward to the DHL Relay 2027.
