130 investors and industry professionals gather for Aarhus Investor Summit

On Thursday, October 8, Aarhus Investor Summit will bring together around 130 investors and professionals from the Danish and international investment community at INCUBA. On the agenda are European technological sovereignty, new approaches to venture investing – and, not least, the opportunity for investors to connect across funds, stages and investment strategies.

When the doors open for Aarhus Investor Summit 2026, a broad group of business angels, venture funds and other players from the investment community will come together. Participants include representatives from EIFO, Seed Capital, Antler, Founderment, Second Foundation Ventures, Spintop Ventures, Nordic Alpha Partners, Climentum Capital and Delphinus Venture Capital, among others.

Bringing together investors with different perspectives is an important part of Aarhus Investor Summit.

“With Aarhus Investor Summit, we want to create a strong meeting place for investors where we can both discuss the major developments shaping the investment market and connect more closely with each other and with the opportunities emerging from Aarhus’ startup ecosystem. Access to experienced, risk-willing capital is essential if more promising startups are to take the next step and grow from a base in Aarhus,” says Jacob Doktor Mogensen, CEO of INCUBA.

For several of the participants, Aarhus Investor Summit has become a recurring event in the calendar. Christian Stampe Vinther, Investment Director & Partner at Founderment, has attended before and will be joining us again this year:

“Aarhus Investor Summit is a great tradition where we get to meet relevant investors and founders from across the Aarhus ecosystem. It’s a valuable platform to build relationships, exchange perspectives and get closer to the companies and people shaping what’s next in Aarhus. We’re happy to be part of it again this year.”

Claus Hansen from CH MEDinvest also highlights the value of bringing the investment community together year after year – with a touch of humour:

“Most investors like annual recurring revenue. Aarhus Investor Summit has positioned itself just like that. A valuable recurring event that is a must attend, year-on-year.”

Technological sovereignty and a changing venture market

This year’s programme will, among other topics, address European Tech Sovereignty. Colin Brown from Spark Mind Capital and Anders Thorup-Jensen from EIFO will discuss Europe’s ambition to strengthen its technological independence and reduce its reliance on technologies and solutions from the rest of the world – and the role capital and investment play in that development.

In the session Different Bets: New Approaches to Venture Investing, Tine Marie Kjærgaard Lindgreen from Seed Capital, Christoffer H. Malling from Second Foundation Ventures and Trine Hoffensetz Winther from DanBAN will discuss where investment opportunities are emerging, how investors approach risk at different stages, and what is changing as the venture market continues to evolve.

The INCUBA Awards 2026

Aarhus Investor Summit will also set the stage for the presentation of the INCUBA Award 2026.

The finalists for Startup of the Year are Coana, Serper and Understory, while Berit & Christian Klibo, Geeta Schmidt and Mathias Brink Lorenz are the finalists for Investor of the Year. The winners will be announced on stage at Aarhus Investor Summit.

Following the investor programme at INCUBA, the day continues at Turbinehallen, where Startup Aarhus will bring together founders, investors and the wider startup ecosystem for Townhall 2026.

Aarhus Investor Summit is organised by INCUBA with the support of Danske Bank, EIFO, DLA Piper and the City of Aarhus.
