INCUBA companies on the fast track: DKK 451 million in new capital and record number of product launches in 2024

INCUBA has just finalised the analysis of this year's IMPACT survey 2024, showing continued progress despite a challenging market. In total, INCUBA companies have raised DKK 451 million, with 52% increasing revenue and 45% improving earnings. The positive trends are in line with current figures from EIFO, which point to a stabilisation in the number of new Danish start-ups.

Wide range from biotech to climate solutions

Biotech company Draupnir Bio secured DKK 90 million in a seed round to accelerate its ‘targeted protein degradation’ technology, which utilises the body's own system to target proteins that have previously been difficult to treat. Scalgo is an example of a company that has strengthened its position with new software solutions for intelligent water and climate management, which has also triggered an increased need for specialised employees.

The proximity to Aarhus University and the community in INCUBA contribute to easy recruitment and an inspiring development environment - crucial factors for continued growth and innovation.

More venture capital for Danish startups according to INCUBA's CEO

If we are to retain the many strong cases, we need more large funds and established companies that can invest larger amounts faster, as in the US. The risk of braindrain is particularly high in tech, which is critical at a time when robust supply chains and cybersecurity are high on the agenda.

INCUBA adds more employees to the team

We welcome more and more startups, scaleups, spinouts and established companies to the business environments at Katrinebjerg, Navitas and Skejby. That's why we're also growing on the employee front. Get to know us all better. We look forward to meeting you in the houses and in the ecosystem.
